Crafting Anatomies was a research project and exhibition at Nottingham Trent University curated by Rhian Solomon, Katherine Townsend and Amanda Briggs-Goode. The project placed the human body at the centre of a multidisciplinary dialogue: exploring how this entity has been interpreted, crafted and reimagined in historical, contemporary and future ‘design’ contexts.

Exhibiting artists included Boudicca, Marloes ten Bhomer, Amy Congdon, Di Mainstone, Jo Cope, Anna Rajcevic, Juliana Sissons, Julian Ellis, Richard Arm, Shelly Goldsmith, Karen Ingham, Julia Schuster, Jessie White. For a full list of exhibitors visit Crafting Anatomies exhibition guide - PDF.

Crafting Anatomies is currently being developed into an edited book, to be published by Bloomsbury in 2019.
