sKINship™ was a professional network, that I developed, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations between visual arts and science based practitioners - including reconstructive plastic surgeons and designers who create and make for the body (Footwear, Knitwear, Pattern Cutting, Industrial Design). Through interactive workshops, the forum provided a space in which to exchange knowledge – exploring the processes of ‘making’ as a universal visual language to communicate and share ideas across disciplines.
